We slightly hand-cut the back center of each shrimp to allow for easy peeling, making this variety perfect for do-it-yourself shrimp preparation. Aside from being able to easily peel and prepare the shrimp, the vein may be removed during processing. This is unintentionally, so you will come across shrimp with vein intact.
