When tail-on shrimp are peeled and deveined (P&D), it means the veins are also removed to make for a more visually pleasing plate. It also means special care has been taken during the peeling process to ensure the tails don’t become damaged during deveining. I live in Florida and I eat a lot of fresh shrimp so when I say these are some of the best I've ever had I do know what I'm talking about. And, $10 a pound for shrimp this large is a great deal! I love that they are IQF so you can fix as few or as many as you need to. I usually cook them with Old Bay seasoning and lemon pepper. When cooked, they are very easy to peel and I haven't come across any that weren't cleaned properly. I'll certainly continue to order from this company!
