INGREDIENTS:
- 15 oz French bread (loaf)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese cut into cubes
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1.5-2 tbsp of your favorite herbs and spices
- 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 stick butter
- 3 cups (or more if you like a lot of shrimp!) of our Extra Small 61/90 Count Peeled & Deveined Tail-Off Gulf Shrimp, or Medium 41/60 Count Peeled & Deveined Tail-Off Gulf Shrimp or any size shrimp!
- 1.5 cups mozzarella shredded cheese
- 1.5 cups shredded cheddar
- 4 tbsp mayo
DIRECTIONS:
- In a skillet on medium/medium-high heat add butter
- Sauté the onions and bell peppers until soft
- Add shrimp and season with the garlic and Biloxi Shrimp Co. Herb & Spice
- Cook until shrimp are pink and turn off heat
- Add the cream cheese and mix around until all melted
- Split the French bread down the middle long ways
- Take out just a little bread down the middle
- Scoop mixture and spread on top of the French bread
- In a bowl, add the cheese and mayonnaise
- Mix well
- Spread on top of the shrimp mixture on the bread
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes until French bread is golden and crisp
- Sprinkle with more Biloxi Shrimp Co. Herb & Spice and jalapeños for a little kick!
