Make Meal Prep Easy with Wild-Caught Gulf Shrimp

This time of year, everyone’s schedule kicks into full swing when school and work hours weave together, and it makes it hard to keep an entire family fed. It’s one reason why meal prepping provides such a popular option for many households. However, the types of meals that will keep (and keep up) with everyone throughout the week can be limited.

BUFFALO SHRIMP LETTUCE WRAPS
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 lb. of our Extra Large 31/40 Peeled & Deveined Tail-Off Shrimp
- 1/3. cup buffalo sauce
- 2 tsp. oil or butter for sautéing
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 6-12 leaves of romaine or bibb lettuce
TOPPINGS:
- Carrots, shredded
- Red bell pepper, chopped
- Jalapeño pepper, sliced or chopped
- Pickled carrots or pickled jalapeños
- Shredded cabbage or slaw
- Red onion, chopped
- Green onion, chopped
- Cilantro
- Crushed red pepper flakes
- Extra buffalo sauce for drizzling
DIRECTIONS:
- Keep thawed shrimp in fridge covered, while prepping wraps
- Wash lettuce and chop your choice of toppings
- Heat a large pan or skillet to medium-high heat with 2 tsp of butter or oil
- Season with paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, & black pepper
- Sauté shrimp for about 3 minutes or until done
- Add buffalo sauce to pan; mix to coat while the pan is still hot
- Add shrimp to leaves either chopped or whole
- Add in favorite toppings
- Enjoy!
BILOXI SHRIMP ROLLS
INGREDIENTS (SERVES 4):
- 2lbs. of our Medium 31/40 Peeled & Deveined Tail-On Shrimp
- 1/4 cup celery, diced
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. horseradish
- 1/8 tsp. paprika
- 1/8 tsp. ground thyme
- 1/2 tsp. Cajun seasoning
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- Green leaf lettuce
- 4 pistolette rolls
DIRECTIONS:
- Boil shrimp for 3 minutes or until pink
- Chop cooked shrimp into bite-size pieces
- Add all ingredients into bowl, mix well
- Place mixture into hollowed out pistolette rolls
- Add green lettuce and tomatoes (optional)
- Enjoy!
BILOXI'S SHRIMP TACOS
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 lb. (or more as needed) of your choice of wild-caught Gulf shrimp
- 1 packet of taco seasoning (your choice) per pound of shrimp
- 4 tortillas per pound of shrimp
- Shredded mixed cheese and other tacos add-ons of your choice such as cilantro, onions, tomatoes or a spritz of lime
DIRECTIONS:
- Thaw shrimp, coat in taco seasoning (as specified on the packet) and cook in buttered pan until pink.
- Fill tortillas with shrimp, shredded cheese and other add-ons.
