BILOXI SHRIMP JAMBALAYA

Ingredients

Directions

  • Cook and stir sausage in butter in a large stockpot over medium heat until brown (about 5 minutes)
  • Add spices and vegetables into the mixture and continue to stir
  • Add brown rice and chicken stock, bring to a simmer and then turn heat to low: cover and cook until the rice is tender (about 45 minutes)
  • Stir in shrimp, add salt and pepper as needed and re-cover until shrimp are cooked through (about 5 minutes)
  • Enjoy!
